2003 price

What is the cheapest I can get a 2003 L for out the door with dealer cost and tax. How low will the dealer go because I am going Saturday to talk to one and want a general idea how low I can get him. This is no x-plan or special deals, just a straight up sale with a trade in.

Mine was 29,7 out the door I think...or 29,4? No plan either although I asked for "X-plan price" and went from there. Talking about my 2002 True Blue.

how much talking did it take to get him 30,500? Did you have to threaten to break his legs or was it pretty easy?

No this was in July of 2002. I bought it brand new and just thought I'd offer my purchasing price for comparison.

If you could buy an 03' L in Arizona for that little, you would be a hero. The best I could get anywhere was $34,500 out the door. I pretty much bought my 02' for what you paid for your 03'. Damn you AZ.

I think $29400. I know it was invoice plus sales tax and B&O tax of a few hundred. No plan bought it in May this year.

I paid about $33,000 even, which included a bed liner. There are no discounts on L's around here. In fact, the dealers actually add about $1,500 "market adjustment" to Cobras. Add the "gas guzzler" tax on the Cobra -- which is not applied to the L, because it's a truck -- and the L is the much better deal all around.

That price is awsome. How did you do that? PLease fill me in on your secret because as low as I can get them here in VA is 31,500 and everyone tells me this is one of the best areas for lower priced L's because not much demand for them here.

Also does having a GOOD size down payment help get the price lower?

So how did you get it so cheap? Is it the area? I hope I can get mine that cheap. The lowest price I have been quoted so far is 31,500, but I have not really PUSHED the issue yet. So far all has been done by phone.
