Raced a twin turbo supra today!

well i have this freind with a twin turbo supra, and ive been waiting to get a chance at him....finally he decides to race me.....i have a 2000 silver with a volant cold air intake, 2 psi upper, a chip and a shift kit, he has the stock twin trubos, front mount intercooler, turbo timer, boost controller, Greddy blow off valve, greddy cat back exhaust and a few more small things...what a match up!!!! well i raced him from a 60mph roll to about 120 and surprisingly we stayed neck in neck till about 100 then he just took off.....he was running about 18 psi.....i have it all on tape but i have no idea how to get it on here...so if someone can tell me i will be glad to share! it sounds so good with the eaton and the turbo spool and BOV at the same time!!! his license plate said "V8KILR"

Rule one to racing rice.. NEVER go from a roll.. The Lightings have the advantage out of the hole, so use it.

I dont think I would ever start from a roll unless it was under 35-40 mph...but like they are saying, if you dont roast your tires we are killer off the line.

Becareful with a Twin Turbo Supra even from a stop. They can run low 13's stock and with a few mods are easily into the 12's. They are a fast car.

there was a clip of a 10 second TT Supra on here not that long ago, thats one import that gets respect from me....but of course they have to be driven correctly to be a threat...but thats true of our trucks as well

Done up with a knowledgable person who can drive, they are amazing cars.

Done up by the average "iMpOrT pWnZ aLl" crowd member, oh well it's a shame.

I don't think I'd even try unless I had 500+ at the wheels.

From a roll is easier. I don't get all of that wheel spin like I do from a dead stop. Maybe I have the Nitto drag radials, KB, and PI 2600 stall to thank for that...

I raced a stock TT supra when I was stock, on the highway from about 50-120. When we shut it down we were in the same positions as when we started. Real nice guy, about a week later he came into my job to shoot the chit. Said it was his daily driver. Would hate to run into whatever he rips around in on the weekends...lol

Good race, you should have just shut down at 100 and called it a tie. Or hitch a boat to both and see who wins then.
