I got my BR7ERF's @ .038. I get very little misfire, but its still present at times.

Get back on the dyno and reset your computer by keeping the battery off for 10 mins and see if that sets the chip back. Weather and Barometric pressure will alwasys skew your #'s. Add humidity to the mix and you got a screwing graph.

What about a TR-6 gap of .36 for 4lb lower and 50-75 shot of nitro?

Hi Silver, yeah, maybe filter but most probably a differant correction factor. When did you dyno? This past week has been more humid than normal.

Wow! Lot'sa thoughts here, thanks. First, because of the altitude here (5,000'+), I'm only pulling 11 pounds of boost with these mods. Stock I only got 7. So I thought the gap was OK. Too big?

My fuel filter is only 5,000 miles old.

Also, yes, the weather is significantly different, 20 degrees warmer and more humid. I guess the computer COULD be pulling timing because of that

But WHY has my A/F ratio changed, it's the same chip not reburned?

Thanks again

Most will say 5000 miles is to much for the fuel filter. I would change it just to eliminate it as a possible cause.

Here's mine at 5k

Here's what it did

As Sal always said
GREEN MEANS LEAN

If I wasn't so blind, when I checked my plugs 14 days earlier,
I SHOULD HAVE noticed the white spots (silent Detonation)
My Plugs were already under attack due to improper Fuel Flow,
but I didn't know what those spots were AT THE TIME,

NOW I DO.
And Yes it ran great right up to the melt down, which BTW was in the middle of me dusting a Z06 down the 1320

take the ram air off

ten bucks says you take the ram air off and put a k&n cone filter on you'll pick up 10hp

These ram air boxes choke off the engine on the dyno because the truck isn't moving anywhere. Seen this first hand.

Dynod my truck.......2000 with most bolt-ons w/ 4lb pulley 416/522
Dynod Eluzion's truck 2002, same boltons w/ 4lb and 2lb upper......i think he was at like 408/525.

His air to fuel was right on the money across the band where mine was still on the rich side, which i was happy with. But the proof was in the pudding. He had the stock airbox with a K&N, i had Jim's intake.

You can hear the difference in the blower whine too!!!! Night and day

IMO.......
You should be running at least 12.4's at around 110 with that kinda of power

yup

you are right soap. That 12.82 run was with a 2lb pulley and my original F1's. I recently changed to a 4 and am trying to break in/ learn how to launch a new set of hoosier dot's. I'm hopping to be in the 12.4/12.5 range.....we'll see. Don't expect any record times soon because it's starting to heat up here in new england, but I agree, and i hope you're right!!!
