Rob, for the support I made a cradle that the rubber portion of the filter sits on. It has 2 legs that mount into the stock rubber grommets. The cool part is you can't see it. It looks like the pipe is just floating out there.
Actually I was ready to buy the Evo until I saw the STi. The Evo is kind of narrow and long looking (sleek). The STi looks like a muscle bound bull dog. Both nice cars. Local guy here ran his bone stock STi 13.1 @ 106mph. Less than 1k miles and street tires. Looking forward to a new avenue of speed.
LightninRod, it has all the PCV connections and vacuum tube on the bottom. The MAF electronics mount directly to it, the IAC probe mounts directly to it, and the three tubes on the bottom near the T/B mount to it. It's pretty steathy so none of it shows.

Does the mass air mount allow for any brand or size of mass air meter? What are you using with it?
Taken from BAbolt
"The mounting bracket to support the air meter will be to your specification. There is a difference between the stock unit and the Pro-M. I will also offer a custom 4 inch diameter Pro-M adapter so that all restrictions can be removed from that meter."
