Thumbs up You've Been Thunder Struck!!!!!!!

Just got word that my bud Nuno aka Thunder Struck ripped off an 11.94 and 11.95 @ 113 MPH at FFW Richmond. Impressive times for a 57k stock block, daily abused Lightning!!!! Most Gen 2 L's have been off due to weather and track prep. Nuno's best 60' on Hoosiers was 1.74 which is a full .1 second off his usual times. Oh well, not bad for a stock block, eh? Many others with built motors are scratching their noggins.

High heat + high humidity + sucky track = bad ET's. Plus they are not running downhill like at Cecil! LOL. Many are chasing mechanical gremlins. I'm sure others will post soon. Wish I had been able to make it and blast off some good ET's. Nuff said.

Post Et's

Good job Nuno, those are good numbers for running in the heat. I have got down to 11.84 but that was back in March, remember, I let you borrow my Prestone Jump Start when your battery decided to cry Uncle. I hope to improve this Fall when I put one of those KB blowers on like you've got, John H.

Well, I've seen high ten's here on the Right Coast, but we've got the "good gas" and the "good air", so I guess that doesn't count.

Hey Johnny,

I will agree we have the good gas, but I can't remember the last time I took a breath of good air. We do also have Atco, which hooks pretty well.
