Quick Help... Line Mod Valve... which rib does Spring Clip go on?

Hi guys... I am getting nervous... and don't want to fill trans if I put the spring clip in the wrong slot...

Here is the pic...

where should the spring clip go...

In the larger diameter ring/rib... or the middle (smaller) diameter ring rib?

I know it goes to one of those two in the rear... but am concerned I have it in the wrong one? See the one closest to the rear with the hole in it... and then the one just forward of that... a little smaller in diameter... which one?

Thanks for your help!

I would assume that it is the lower one. Reason being it is the only place that I can see that it will stay. If you put it on the higher part it would eventually work its way to the lower part as nothing is keeping it from doing so.

No knowledge here, just theory.

hmmm... yeah... I don't know... I guess if you use that logic... then even if it is on the bigger one... it should move over to the other one right?

Thanks!

That was what I was thinking. I hope you get it figured out.
