JDM Phenolic Spacer, Before & After

Here is a comparison of 2 runs on two differant days, same track.

Conditions Track 5500 feet

Before Phenolic
Temp 74
Humidity 14%
60 foot 1.926
1/4 13.146 @ 104.584

With Phenolic
Temp 75
Humidity 27%
60 foot 1.902
1/4 13.024 @ 105.262

Both these runs were bests for me at this 5500 feet altitude. So I feel the spacer does show the performance gain that the dyno runs suggested.

Sweet! Looks like the humidity went up on the second day. Good to see that it works nicely!

I have different results.
Same temp 75 without and 77 with degrees, same time of day.

WO Spacer
Avg 4 runs
12.79 106.6 1.80 60 ft (best 12.75 108, worst 12.82 106.5)

With Spacer
Avg 3 Runs
12.88 105 1.84 60 ft (best 12.79 105.8, worst 13.02 104.1)

I am not happy as it was a pain to install. The 2 rear bolts are a bitch to get to and bending the egr tube is the real pain. I could not bend it without removing it and to remove the spacer to get a real AB comparison would mean rebending the tube or getting another stock one to swap with.

Dude, I don't know you and don't want to flame, but if installing an intake spacer is dificult, maybe you should find a good mechanic. Yes, I have done this job, egr was bent just like in the pics, and she fit fine!

I guess I can't talk though, cause I melted a vac line during the install, and that took me two weeks to find!
