Check out what happened Friday...
Some idiots broke into the lot here at work over the weekend and took our two Dodge vans on a demolition derby spree.... They took out a 2002 Windstar, 2002 F-350 / trailer, two Econoline vans, Suburban, 2001 Dakota (totaled), and various tractors and utility vehicles. The two Dodge vans were found totally submerged in the lake we have behind our building. What's wrong with people?

Hey, is that the Mowing Across America trailer? If it is then I saw that thing in Athens Georgia in May. That's a real shame.

I have serious doubts about people in this world after all this. I really don't understand how someone could think of doing this.

Dad was telling about something sililar over by him where three kids broke into a pet food plant, and did several million dollars worth of damage with fork trucks. They caught them, but one of the parents is sueing the plant saying they left the doors unlocked to where his child could get in. I think they need to play a little fork truck demo with his face...

The police have nothing so far. They took the mangled Dakota in for fingerprinting though... not sure what they can get from that. I firmly believe that it is kids that live around here. I see them running around on the weekends on 4-wheelers and dirt bikes. plus the kids around here are just plain bad - it's a higher priced area and mom and dad are never home to see (or care) what their kids are up to.
So, now we have resorted to putting camera's up and doing some other security work. I would have like to have seen all of this unfold on video tape... might have been like a Jackass episode.

Actually, WalMart was the one that got us back up and running. They gave us a mower to continue with and tools to keep going. Insurance covered it so it was just a technicality to get by.
I just can't believe their are weak people out there that feel compelled to damage another's property in the manner they did. This is a point where they need to modify the traditional sentencing from a judge... give them something really crappy to do - or beneficial, however you look at it. Jailtime is nothing for these pesky little tirds.
