MAN THAT SUCKS

Swede's a good guy, and one of the first to run a KB.
He's been running his for quite some time,
and I know he spent much time tuning to it.

I hate reading AND SEEING our Rods in pieces

I cant' wait for the typical reply to this post

Un common to see a 2000 block in pieces...

Hate to see it no matter the year ....

15 lbs of boost = what an 8# pulley ?

Just read his page - He was running a KB with 5# lower

* Kenne Bell blower.
* Airaid system.
* Borla catback exhaust.
* Diablosport Deltachip.
* 90 MM MAF.
* #5 lower pulley.
* Single blade throttle body.
* Boost bypass kit.
* Line valve mod.
* Deep sump trans pan & filter.
* Adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

Although I'm sure he caused the failure, it still sucks what happened. I can always empathize with that if nothing else.

BTW
15 lbs of boost isn't that high at all,
Stock is 8-9
add a 4+2 pulley
+ a good filter (@2more lbs)
and you got every bit of that
I do
There's got to be thousands of us running that much boost

Man that sucks. I hope he has the means of being able to put a motor together back there. The shipping cost to there from the states for a built motor would be enormous.

Im sure he will get rolling soon.

The swede was daily driving on a Stock block with a KB for a long time.

I for one applaud what he did.

He was basically R&Ding for the rest of us. He showed the KB can withstand some miles(most KBs in the beginning were 1/4 mile queens) and how far the stock block will go.

Sorry to hear what happened , but thanks Swede for helping out the L community.
