Looking for A/F Data

Guys, Went to the dyno today. I will not post any a/f numbers....but I will say that the 3 trucks that showed up had pretty much the same a/f numbers. Even the stock truck......So I would like to get some info on the a/f readings from any L from stock to modded.

Thanks to all that post a reply

lander i was showing about a 16 AF ratio which has to be off, i would be pinging so bad it wouldnt even be funny, i was told all of you guys ran really lean, and my exhaust is a little longer so i can see it reading even leaner. email me your info or your af graph if you can/want to so we can compare data.

Had mine dynoed Today.

Bone Stock.

3000 rpm A/F 15.7 that number decreased evenly until 4300 rpm where it stayed at 12.6 for the reaminder of the run. I had an average of 13.6 for the entire run.

My Trucks power is way down compared to other stock trucks. I dont have a clue why this is.

damn, that is lean. i dont know if its different for a stock truck but on a modded lightning i would not want to go above 12.5 at all. How was the A/F ratio measured?

Do you know why your tailpipes are black and sooted up??

I'll give you a hint......... Its not because you are running pig rich.

My AFs were 11.5-11.7 @ 5500 rpms. Remember to account for the dyno showing .4-.9 off (leaner) because of a tailpipe sniffer...

So basically my AFs may have been in the 10s. And my timing is 15 degrees so I think I still have a little left in my tune...

Why not get a decent air/fuel gauge, modified for our trucks.
We did a dyno day and the guys with the MR.GADGET modifed gauges were dead on.
Some guys in my club are doing a two gauge air/fuel for both sides.
That way you now where you are all the time.

Anyone other than FJO do a digital readout wideband? I like Easter's setup a lot...

You know JJ, for someone who claims to be such a tuner and tunes his own truck, explain why you have blown up more Lightnings then the top 3 vendors combined?

Go take your Plasma Booster miracle power maker and stick it in your ***.

I've been to the dyno on numerous occasions to check a/f ratio, as well as my progress. Mine have ranged from dropping off the chart richness at about 4200 rpms, on one tune, to a 12.7 on an old tune with a new mod added to the mix. Most of my runs have fallen into the 11.5 to 12.0 area. Measured at the sidepipe.
