What does it mean...

I just installed my Deltachip, and everything is fine, runs fine and everything. But the odometer is just lines, not the numbers. What's wrong?

Hmmm it's just lines even when the truck is running? Weird, people have had problems in the past with this but it usually won't even start. I saw those lines when I was at the track and ran my e-fan for too long and drained my battery a little. Truck didn't start though...let alone run.

Don't need to drain the battery. Just disconnect the negative, wait a couple of minutes, then reconnect. Also, check the contacts of your PCM and make sure they are clean. Make sure the chip is attached and you may want to tap it on the PCM.

Good luck...

does it work with the chip pulled, if so might be a quirky program, or a glitch in the chip, if it is still out with the chip pulled there might have been a wire tweaked when the pcm was pulled..
