Newbie here with dyno numbers and track times
Hey all,
Just picked up and 03 Lightning on tuesday, brand new. Its Sonic Blue and I can't tell you how many compliments I've had on the color. Anyway dyno'd it thursday with 330miles on the motor it made 340rwhp and 410rwtq. I noticed that it shifted out of the torque peak in third gear so the peak torque might be a hair higher. These are Dyno numbers from a Mustang Dynomometer. We did a 0-60 and 1/4 mile run on teh dyno and it did 0-60 in 5.33 and 1/4 in 13.66@102.6mph. Yesterday, friday I went to the track and could only muster a 14.0 @ 98mph. The track would not hook up at all. I would spin all the way through first at times. BNest launches (60' of 2.0) came with a launch at about 800rpm. Wish it would have gone faster but its still fresh. I put a Flowmaster muffler on it friday mornong and it sounds great. Have a 4lb lower pulley, intake and Diablo chip on the way. Thanks all for reading. I'll post some pics tomorrow.
