MAF question - 2000 L
Hey Guys:
The prev. owner of my 2000 L mentioned that he had upgraded to a 90mm MAF. Was this done primarily to increase the diameter of the MAF or does this MAF give you the capability of measuring more airflow.
In the turbo Buick world, our MAF's are 16 years old, and they only read up to 255 gps. On modded cars, they'll easily peg 255 gps so the computer would stop adding fuel. We have to compensate in our chips for this by adjusting the fuel tables OR we go with a translator that utilizes an LS1 MAF, etc.
Second, where did this 90mm MAF come from? Is it from a superduty? Curious just in case I ever need to replace it.
Thanks in advance,
Rich
