Was that on their race truck with a 90mm? How's the 102 mm doing on their truck?

12's are no problem with a 80mm. Back in the day Spiro ran 11.40 on the juice with a 80mm.

No, the 140 was on a customers truck...Timburtire has the 102mm on his everyday driver sonic blue 03 L....an I am R&Ding one of these bazookas on my truck...alls fine with it..excellent idle and cruising characteristics, truck seems to pull much harder upstairs from about 2500 rpm and up...ill be checking my a/f this week and getting with Paul about checking...but this mass air you will definately not max out..not even with a KB or a 140.......

The HP max is well over 600-700 for the 90mm. The fuel tables, etc. can be changed to allow the meter to be maxed and the truck still have good air/fuels. You can stuff a lot of air/HP through a 90mm hole...there are a ton of cars making over 1000hp with small MAF's and TB's than we have.

Even with 55# injectors and 255 lph pumps and any type of Blowzilla blowers...... our hp limits would be due to pegged MAFs , unless a tuner tunes chip into default and remaps the maf voltages..correct me if Im wrong......but one of REMs truck really started making sick power on the dyno after one of these big bazooka mass airs was installed.......

I agree, I don't think the HP limits are due to the MAF sensor. There are a couple different ways around it, depending on who you deal with. The 03 Cobra guys have been making 600+ rwhp and maxing out the 90mm MAF by 4300rpms for quite a while.

I'll be going to gulfport tomorrow night. Silverzz28 has a 90mm, I have a 80mm. I'll post our 1/4 times on street tires tomorrow. We ran the same in the 1/8 but the quatermile should tell the difference. Other than the mafs are trucks are modded the same.
