Summer Heat

Is there anyone else out there who is not happy with the heat and humidity that deters our level of performance? I can't wait for some cool Fall weather, John H.

Think about it this way
Right now you can look foward to the cool weather. Once the cool weather comes, you will be dreading the upcoming winter.

I have been racing in the heat, I am just practicing the tree, and getting the truck consistant. I can live with a little slower ET's during the summer. it is a lot better than driving the chrysler in the winter.

Hey, at least nobody has an advantage. It's the same for everybody at the track.

Actually no it isn't. Supercharged vehicles are more affected by heat and humidity than most naturally aspirated vehicles.

Ya doesn't it suck
I haven't and won't even atttempt a 1/4 mi pass in June, July, and maybe even Aug.
I save that for Sept, Oct, and even Nov.

Then in the winter I cant touch the gas pedal from a stop or roll without burning through 1st to 2nd and sometimes 3rd,
Then it finally hooks and I'm in 3rd gear 60ft from where I started and going nowhere fast And thats after taking the upper off for the colder months. I have more boost in the winter with 4lbs of pulley than I do in the summer with 6lbs of pulley.
But it's always @ 14 or 15 lbs
SO I LIKE IT ALL YR ROUND

HATE THAT DAM SNOW THOUGH

Summer? What summer? We have had nothing but rain and fall like temperatures. This weather is depressing. Can't even get to WOT without spinning around in all this rain.

At least in AC you can get the cool ocean breezes. Here in interior south Jersey, It's dead calm and HOT! At least we haven't hit triple digits yet, and it's getting late in the season for that. Maybe we'll get lucky!
