1/4 times sound low?????

Just got back from the track. The best time I could pull was a 13.018 @ 105 with a 60 ft of 1.936.
My mods are a 6 # pulley, chip & fast air kit.
I was hoping for some 12.8 or 12.9's. Whats your opinion.

Was it REALLY hot................humid?? That'll do it to ya.............all summer long. Your 12.9 MIGHT be attainable in the heat if your 60' was in the 1.8 range..................Don't be concerned about the times too much................these trucks HATE heat

Seems kind of low, but the heat, baro, and humidity play a HUGE role in the performance of these trucks. Get to a dyno and get a printout for your tuner with the a/f ratios.

Referencing this thread: Is the heat that BAD on these trucks?

Forced induction motors lose about 2% of their power for every 10-degree increase in ambient temperature. Normally aspirated motors only lose about 1%.

The best race weather for our trucks is:

50 - 60 degrees ambient temperature
Barometric Pressure over 30 in.
Humidity below 75%

Ambient temperature and power are indirectly proportional. Ambient temperature and traction are directly proportional.
