Member Needs Help--Where is the Cam Sensor?

Guys,

I'm trying to hook up a tach adapter to operate a Stewart Warner shift light. The tach converter uses the CID signal (Cylinder Identification) from a sensor on the camshaft to create a signal compatible with any aftermarket electronic tachometer or RPM activated equipment. I simply need to know where the sensor is and better yet, what wire I should be tapping.

Thanks a Whole Bunch in Advance

I believe they are talking about the sensor you can see on the drivers side head, just below the valve cover on the front of the engine. Which wire to use, I have no idea! Sorry for the limited knowledge, but I figured it might help until somebody intelligent steps in!
