Wink What did you pay for your 2003 LIGHTNING?

I bow down to those of you who have been able to afford one. I know this is personal, but what did you pay? Are they still over invoice? What are you paying for insurance and if you had another pickup before this one, how much did your insurance go up? I've been bit harder by the Lightning bug this time and am trying to see if I can let him stay latched on this time

Tax, tag, and title it came out to around $34,000. My insurance covers it simply as a standard cab F150.

Totally unrelated but I thought I would share. My insurance went from 960/year on an 01 Lightning to 1979/year on an 03 Cobra. Unreal I think the Lightning is more of a liability.
