Kenne Bell with Reflash............

For a small comparision.....I was running 12 lbs Eaton - with no chip and ran a 12.96 in cool weather (about 50-60 degree weather)
But the last few times at the track in the heat (about 82 degrees) I was running 13.3 (12 lbs Eaton - no chip)

Then I added a 75 shot of ZEX on and ran 12.75 @ 107 ( 12 lbs Eaton -no chip). 80 -85 degree temp.

Removed the Zex and installed Kenne Bell @ 16 lbs with no chip (about 80 - 85 degrees) and ran 12.82 @ 107.

Now reflashed with Kenne Bell running 16 lbs with the temp about 92 degrees with only a 45 minute cool down I ran 12.49 @ 110.64

I cant wait for that cool Fall weather to get here....I should be running strong then!! (as long as my rods stay in the block!!)

I will be getting on the Dyno in a few weeks and will let you know the results!!

Nice times.

Does the $3000 for Kenne Bell kit come with everything you need for the install so the only other thing I would need is a chip/reflash?

Thx

Yep, pick your pulley (or buy a couple of pulleys and the wrench) and it can be bolted right on. You dont need a chip but you will leave alot of performance on the table like I did for about 3 weeks.

Six Spd Z28,

You are blazing a trail of mods that I'm about to commit to. What pulley combination gave you 16 pounds?

HAHA good point spanky.... I should hope not. Kinda defeats the purpose of a built block.

Thanks for the chart

I am running the 3.25 upper and the 9" lower at the track.
Then I swap out to the 3.5 upper (14lbs) and head back home!

I was coming to Pensacola today and staying the weekend, but my plans got changed.

1/8 mile was 8.03 @ 87 w/ 1.83 60'
