Yeah, something def doesnt sound right. I was pulling 7.9's in the 1/8 and was only cutting 1.7 shorts. Also what looks weird is your R/T... either something was wrong with the lights, or you just really suck and took a long nap at the tree.

Sorry ****, but something else must've tripped the beams. 1.41 is low 10 second terrritory, thats 60' is damn near IMPOSSIBLE with your truck. So yeah, I'm calling BS on you kevin.

I saw JL pull a 1.4X at WFC6 this year.

1.41 is low 10 second terrritory
Just cause you cut a low 60' dont mean squat about trap time if you dont have the power to get a 10 sec pass. All the 60' states is how well the vehicle hooks and shoots out the hole, if it runs outta power, it runs outta power.

Reaction times have nothing to do with 60 foot times. You can sit there all day and nothing will happen until you cross that beam of light, then the clock starts ticking.

If I want to do an all out run, best time and speed , I wait till the light goes green then I'm off. I could care less about the person in the other lane.

I should hope everyone here would know that r/t has nothing to do with ET. My point was that the REALLY BAD r/t could have also been an indicator of a faulty tree/trip.

Well first of all, the truck only has a 4#, high flow cats, catback, chip, filter and accumulator.

Do you reallly think im going to be busting 11's? No.

Another thing to take into account, is weather. Its hot as hell up at that track with nasty humidity. Its also at 1200 ft.

Everyones times are off. Ive never ran faster then 83 mph there.

West Coast tracks arent like East Coast tracks. So dont be quick to pull up the bs flag.

I realize that, but generally speaking a 1.41 would be low/mid 10 second territory. I've got a slip here with a 1.39 60' (just .02 faster than ****) from when I had the small motor in the Camaro...that run was 5.76 @ 121 in the 1/8th. If you've got the power to run 1.4 60' you're a lot faster than 8.0 in the 1/8th mile.

-spencer

ps still love ya' kevin, but the BS flag is ready and waiting

Even more the reason why it is not likely, unless a *****load of weight was taken out of it. Flag's not out yet.

What's your average 60' time there? What is your best ever? Did this pass feel like a 1.4? Just asking...

My head slammed into the back window, it hooked so hard.

My best 60 ever there was a 1.82.. That was on slappers and 16X8 wheel.

I launched at 1500 rpm after a 20 second burn out.

Last night i was just trying to find a way to launch this combo.

So you took over 4 tenths off your 60' time by changing traction bars, wheels and tires to a different type, and launching differently? That's pretty good...and I'm happy to take .4 off my 1/4 mile ET after mods.
