Well I have the ProStar XP's all around, 11.5" Quick Time Pro's for the rear and low resistance tires for the front, Rancho bars, 2" drop, no front sway bar. I've only run this combination a few times but the best so far at a bad track (Etown) is like a mid 1.7. I haven't used the combination enough to know optimum tire pressures and launch technique.
If I thought that 4 tenths could be shaved off my short time without sacrificing 1/4 mile ET, I would gladly fly you out here. I think my combination is capable of 1.6's but not 1.4's or 1.5's.
What was your 330' time?

****, I we believe what you are saying your time slip says. I dont have any reason to doubt you would make this up, we are simply saying the lights mal****ioned. I have a timeslip that says I cut a 1.02 60ft time, Do I believe it ? Hell no, the lights malfunctioned. Lights malufunction and thats why the sanctioning bodies make you back up ET's and MPH within a certain %. What were the other 60ft times that night ?
Looking at the timeslip your ETs dont equal your MPH. 5.07 in the 330 is a 11 sec pass, 8.09 is a 12.3ish pass but your 81.14 is only a mid 13 sec pass. Like said by others, your numbers just arent making since. What were the other passes like ? Maybe that can clear some of the confusion.

I am not calling you a BS'er. I am just saying that the 1.41 doesn't make sense according to your other numbers, unless the truck is set up for just hole shots or something. I can show you the time slip where I ran a 9.52 in the 1/4 mile because something blew in front of the lights. It sounds dumb, but it happened, and we had to re-run the eliminations round matchup.
Looking at the 60' time, even the 330' time seems slow. Unless your truck is a monster in the first 60' and then falls off real fast after that, I can't see the 1.41.
What were the other times of the night?

Thast was my last pass of the night, i packed it up. Im going back out next week to see what happens.
Basically, i could not hook up all night on my combo using different techniques. I was so pissed off, my last pass i said, fugit and stalled it as high as it would go and let her rip after seeing the 3rd yellow lit. I couldnt muster anything better then a 1.90 60 the whole night until that run. The 1.90 was leaving off the line at about 1000 rpm. If i would leave off idle, i would nail a 1.98.
Very odd night.

I looked back over some slips from 2001.
My mph on an 8.0 pass was 87-90 mph. Usually that was with a 1.8/1.9 60ft. time. That was no nitrous and about 4-5 psi extra(3lb lower and metco upper.) Your mph would go down if you hooked that good, but you still should have got a better et...somewhere around a 7.5 or something.
I know, I know different track. I'm at 600 feet and corrected altitude is pretty high if you add in the temp and high humidity.

****, you definetly need to get back to the track.....thing can happen with the lights.....I am not sure how often you go to the track, but I have seen similar results from people that accidently staged with the back tires.
Many years ago I had a 600rwhp Mustang that went those times dead hooking and weighing in at 3400#'s.
I am not saying it is impossible, but not very likely from a truck that weights at least 4400#'s and make about 400rwhp.
Best of luck your next time out.
