Yup, Alex and Steve saw it first hand. Too bad alex didnt bring his slicks. Dude in a built camaro redlighted on me. His reaction was a .441.. to my1.015 or something like that, caught him, passed him and finished with a 8.0 in the 1/8th.

Its an 1/8th mile track. 8.09 @ 81 mph. 84F with a lot of humidity tonight. Not bad for a 4# truck With glass hood, glass tonneau, full spare, bumper, stabilizer bar and hitch... and a pair of nuts hangin off the hitch.

1.41 60' but you only ran 8.0 @ 81? Sounds a little fishy. No offense but thats the lowest 60' time I've ever heard of on a Gen 2. That is a full .1+ better than guys running mid 10's! Your MPH is low by about 3-4. That run in the quarter is about a 12.55 Which is very good for a 4# full weight truck. I just can't see a 1.41!

Are you running 5.XX rear gears? That is the only way this could possably add up?

First, ****, congratulations, that's probably the best 60' time ever on a Gen II. Did you have a load of rocks in the bed or something?

Eric, I have to agree with you. I just looked at a couple of old time slips from April. Run#1: (60') 1.81; (1/8) 7.82@89.59 (1/4) 12.22@111.34 Run #2: (60') 1.76; (1/8) 7.78@89.54 (1/4) 12.18@111.20

Edit: Here's one closer...(60') 2.08; (1/8) 8.16@89.07 (1/4) 12.57@111.10

Maybe something blew in front of the lights. It happened to me a few times. I ran a 9.50 in my L this year.
