They are 100% more effective than a "normal" radial tire, and not as effective as an E/T Street or Full slick, but a good median. Just keep in mind that they are still a "radial" tire so don't lower the tire pressure as much as you would with your E/T streets it will only decrease the size of your "contact patch". I run around 30psi on the street and 25-26psi at the track. My only other word of advice is not to do burnouts in preparation for a stoplight war, just turn them over a couple times to clean them off and put a lil' heat in them. All out burnouts on the street will wear them out quick, fast, and in a HURRY. They are a much wiser alternative to run on the street as opposed to E/T streets or any biased ply tire for safety and handling reasons moreso than anything else. My best pass to date on the D/R's was a 1.79 60ft; 7.98 1/8mi @ 87.9mph and a 12.49 1/4 @ 109.4mph. Hope this helps.
Rob
thanks for the advise. Shane
