3/4 Drop Issues Kits Never Mention

Here are some issues you will have to deal with if you ever decide to install a 3/4 drop. Hope it helps out in the future.

Had to cut a piece of black metal to secure E-brake bracket to bolt that is ontop of differential. No more noise from bracket bouncing around.

A bracket had to be fabricated to connect the E-Brake lines. With the drop you will need like 2" of additional space on the stock bracket. Thanks to Flatsman he made one for me and it worked perfectly.

Installed So-Cal Endlink Kit to get swaybar level.

Reinstalled Brake cable under leafs due to clearance issues. Was worried it was so tight above the leafs it would cause failure down the road.

Interesting, I guess I will check my lines out now. Any news on your repairs? Also, if the offer for use of the bra for this friday is still good let me know so I can pick it up from you before then. I have some LEDs for you to give to Jon as well, the ones he bought are actually pretty bright. The resistor kinda kills them some but its the only way to keep it safe on 12V...I snagged some "spares" for him incase he loses some or they burn out.

Man, I know what you are talking about......

I JUST replaced my shocks this weekend, I could not take the BANG when I would go over a bump anymore.

I went with the Doesch Tech shocks.

No more BANG.

Truck went to Walker Ford (what a bunch of retards), they fixed my Intercooler but never touched the rest of the truck. My intercooler had a wire that had completed burned up and a bad sensor.

Brought truck to Jon's, next day the AC Compressor siezed causing the accessory belt to smoke. So it was towed this morning back to a local mechanic that is really good with electrical problems.

The only good things is my Dad let me borrow his Mark 8 until my truck is running right, so no car rental is needed. Good things I Love my truck and don't wanna get ride of it.

It's a smaller version of George's piece he has on the front of his truck.
It put some good marks on my hood so I took it off.
It attaches with screws and clips, if I where you, I would just drive down and chance it. Cause you might have a few scratches in your paint with the deflector installed by the time you get back.

Don't forget that our pretty drive shafts can rub on the frame if you bottom out really hard. Mine has a real nice 1 inch wide scratch that runs around it right in the middle of the shaft. Hopefully it isn't out of balance.

You mean no one to draft behind so your truck does'nt get dinged.
Well the shop just called and it's gonna cost me:
1) Bad Starter
2) Bad Compressor and Condensor
and
3) All the AC hose need to be replaced

Hope this is it cause I can't take much more.
