motorcycle in bed?

motorcycle in bed?

Hi, anyone know if a sportbike will fit in the bed of a Lightning? Will two?

1 fits sideways with the gate closed, 2 will fit with the gate down. and yea if you got some long bike like a busa' i bet your gonna have to leave the gate down

my ducati 748 fits in the bed perfect with the tailgate up....but with 2 bikes its easier to have the gate down for more storage room...what kind of bike do ya have?

yeah mine I was able to put in on a slight angle... and the tail gate closed. thanks, Shane

I've had 2 bikes in the bed of my L. Gate will have to be open.

It will fit unless it has an extended swing arm.

I have a suzuki myself and I dont think mine will fit with tail gate up if I put it in straight... did I do something wrong, or is the bike to long? thanks, Shane

It's tight but it fits. With an 01 GSX-R600 there's a few inches before it hits the tailgate. With the GSX-R1000, it's right at the tailgate.

but most sportbike's fit fine, with no angle.

thats what I thought to. But I think last time we tried it, it wouldnt fit straight. I'll try it again. thanks, Shane

Even a heavyweight like my Valkyrie will fit in the back with the tailgate down.

thoughs are some sweet pics for the bikes in the beds of the L i just got a 01 suzuki gsx-r 600 so thats good to know it will fit. question?? is it hard to get it up a ramp and where can you get a ramp for them??? thanks
