Well I have a 2000 L and run a 4# lower with a 100hp shot. I currently have 14,500 trouble free miles on my truck nock on wood but so far so good. I think a big part of how long the stock block lasts is how well your truck is tuned and how hard you drive your truck. If you beat it with a big lower pulley and the juice sooner or later something is gonna give.

who has 700 rwt on stock bottom end? just wondering. I though 450/550 at the wheels or so was the limit on stock bottom end...
thanks, Shane

Wait, your dad has a 03 Cobra, you have a 5# pulley, chip and filter, and you can't hang with him? Is he stock? Just wondering because I have done the below mods, and my dad also has a bone stock 03 Snake, and my truck seems to be quicker than the Cobra (at least in the 1/4)

2001 L
-Diablosport Deltachip
-JLP 3# Pulley
-JLP Ram Air Kit
-JLP Traction Bars
-Bassani Cat-back Exhaust
-LFP Driveshaft Loop
Best E.T. to Date: 13.1 @ 104 mph (on 20's!)(without traction bars)

In the mail: LFP Electric Fan/Waterpump Combo, 170 Thermostat

Coming soon: JDM Phenolic Spacer, Extrude Honed intake, Accufab or Billetflow T/B

NEW ET coming TONIGHT w/ Nitto 555R's and traction bars!!! Stay tuned!
