8# lower or Nos

What would you guys do, 8# lower or 5# lower with a 75-100 shot?? My 2000 L is not a daily driver and after I do either one of these mods it will be strictly for the 1/4.

Juice

Best bang for the buck

8# will just dump unecessary heat into the motor.

in CA i would say go for the NOS, unless your planning on using race fuel. i hear 91 octane and 8 xtra pounds of boost = mad detonation.

I use F&L 111 race fuel so that wouldnt be a problem. I was thinking of making a stainless steel box and run some coiled piping through it for the intercooler. Throw some ice in it to cool it down.

It's a no brainer, NOS and the 5lb lower.

How about 8# and juice?

Either way you are stretchin' it so why not go for the gusto?

A firend trades me a brand new 8# lower for the set up that im running now. Now NOS for me is cheating!!!!!! So im going with the pulley. Ill just wait till it cools down to go race it.

You would be way better off and faster running 4-5# lower with a 75-100hp nitrous shot. Plus it would be a lot easier on your truck. This is a no brainer!!!!!!!!!!

Ya like He Said

Filter-Chip-n-4lb + T/B + 65HP Juice = (2) 12.0's for me
and it consistantly runs 12.7 - 12.8 with no juice that way

I think then the best thing is the NOS kit. Just talked to a friend and he told me everyone is running it at the track now ( I havent been there in over a month). Ill be getting it probably next month. I like the ZEX wet kit.
