Was it Radar or Pace? Lawyers can throw in enough confusion in a Radar case that sometimes they get thrown out! Worked for me.

Cool

HI!... A few months back I got nailed for 237KPH in a 100KPH zone. Got a 5 minute lecture and was free to go. Cool cop.

Hey Chris, invest in a V1, so that doesn't happen again

Damn Chris, I feel for you bro!

That's why I have my Passport 8500 to slow me down when I need to. Saved me too many times. My only speeding ticket was in my wife's Jetta without the radar detector and that was for only 50 in a 35, no insurance card with me, expired registration, and it was 1 block from my house. Got myself a good lawyer and got off with just a parking violation, and my only cost was $50 for the parking violation.

I did a vegas trip not to long ago. Avg. speed on the odometer was about 105 on the way up on hwy 93 in AZ. On the way back avg speed was 115 on the odometer. Now I know the odometer is not accurate but close enough. That was an awesome feeling to do that especially on that Hwy. Was real lucky I did not run into one officer or I would of been put into jail. They don't mess around here in AZ if you get caught at speeds like that.

I heard the report over the police scanner when I got home.

Plus, the next day, I managed to talk with one of my friends who was riding in an S-10 Extreme that night. She said that the cops pulled them over and kept them there until the pursuing officer could arrive. He told them that they were suspected of running 124 in a 45 on the exact road I was on at 2am. The guy (driver) told them that his truck cuts off at 98. They let them go. Seems they pulled over a lot of people that night. The only thing that I was upset about was they thought my L was an S-10.

Man chris--- I would say you came off really lucky and the cop helped you out. I don't know how he treated you, but the ticket was definately a favor--- anything over a 100 or double the speed limit in nevada can be automatically considered wreckless driving and that ticket is 8 points and at least $1,200 !! And if the cop really hates you, he can tow your car and take you to jail for wreckless!

Good luck on the ticket--- if you decide to chalk it up you can get the fee cut in half at the counter if you admit guilt

Oh yeah--- that beats my record of 110 But that was totally a different cituation and a whole different story .....
