got another ticket last night...

and this on is a doosey.

there is a new freeway here and i drove on it for the 1st time last night. i hadnt seen another car for miles and couldnt see any in the distance. so, i decided to open it up a little. big mistake!! i got clocked doing 114 in a 45 (freeway isnt 100% finished thats why it is only 45mph) after getting lectured for 30 mins, i was let go with a $500 speeding ticket.

i guess that is why i have a lawyer on retainer

How fast did you end up going? Was 114 clocked while you were already slowing down? When they opened up the 105 out here in the early 90's i went for a long WOT stretch. Managed 8 miles at over 150 mph in my 5.0. The rush was unbelievable.

Im surprised you havent given the Silver State Classic a whirl since your right there in Vegas

500 is pretty cheap.
My sister got a 110 in a 45 and the fine was a $1000, I think even with a lawyer.

The fine wasn't as bad as what happened to her insurance rates.

Ouch!!! Pay the $500.00 and save the money you'd be wasting for a lawyer on that one. Maybe an insanity plea?

Always get a lawyer! Never ever just go pay a ticket! Points, licens, Ins. Mine got busted down to impeding tarffic.

DA and my lawyer went to law school together!
