Haven't been on the board to even read the goings on with you guys lately. For whatever reason I signed on and I can't believe what I'm reading. I don't know what to say and that is rare. Tundra and Sonic, we'll miss you so so much.
Love and Blessings to the members who will survive their memories in our hearts.

Like many others, I didnt know them except for reading their posts on here, but still it is very sad. It still bothers you even when you didnt know them personally. I dont know what else to say, very very sad to read this kind of news. I hope the families affected by this terrible tragedy can pull through it ok. God bless you all. Mike

So long my friend
I just saw this and, as is always the case with me in tragedies like this (and there have been far too many over the years), there was initital disbelief followed by profound sadness.
I remember trading messages with Tundra about his famous encounter with a Moose one cold night out on the Alaskan tundra a few years ago. That accident could easily have been his last but he was given a pass until this one.
Tundra joined this august group only about six months after I did and, as others have pointed out, was one of the original Lightning board members. I have read through the 13 pages of posts and was glad to see many of the old timers posting their condolences. As in the non-virtual world, it's too bad it takes something like this to bring us all back together.
My heartfelt sympathy to the families of these three gentlemen. It is hard to accept the fact that we will not be seeing any more posts from Tundra. Gone but never forgotten. Mike

It is with great sorrow that my first post on this board must be one that is so tragic. Tundra was killed this evening in a head on collision. He and his best friend Sonic03 where heading out for a day of fishing, when they lost control of Sonic's Cobra and hit a motorhome head on. All in the Cobra died instantly.

tundra and sonic03 R.I.P.
I'm a new member here and haven't logged in in a little while. I've read some of sonic's posts, everyone here is very helpful. I found joing this group was a good experience, sad to hear someone was lost in a tragic accident. Condolences to the family and to all you members who may have known him.
