what is the recomended max rpm of this supercharger? this sounds like the more affordable but still not cheap option to a little better charger.

Any numbers yet on a stock block, avg modded engine yet?
As far as I can remember following "The Fridge" build up in MM&FF it is an average modded engine. The haven't had any new articles on it for a while. The last I remember was the write-up that he had run a 12.0? with it and it was set up for the stock class. Mods by my fuzzy memory were 01 intake, supercharger, 90mm maf, filter chip, complete exhaust, 4:10's, slicks, traction bars, Level 10 tranny and convertor, electric fan and waterpump, 6lb lower and maybe an upper. Very similar to my current setup.
Someone that has their back issues in better order than myself should easily be able to check. Please post your findings.

If these are the mods then those are very nice numbers.

Eric

Thumbs up

That video dyno was pretty cool, and the new blower sounds great. I think it will be very popular with the Lightning go fast community. Keep up the great work, give me a call when you get a chance.

You could always buy this...
Headline: Works 112 blower for 2001-2003 Lightning 17245
Works 112 blower for sale. Very good condition, mostly dyno time. About one hour of street time. Don't like the added gear noise these make.
$1500. firm.

Almost positve it is NOT a stock block.

I do not think they would try and push 20 lbs. of boost through a stock block.

Although my patience and dial-up connection will not allow me to see the video, I'm sure it's a great piece of footage

I feel the Magnum Powers unit is and will be an "All around" perfect selection for the majority of the Lightning owners out there. I put pass after pass on the Magnum in the Texas heat for several months, problem free.

For the Lightning owner who is shopping around for an alternative blower and is looking at cost, reliability, and power, the Magnum Power blower is working its way to be the right selection.

Another great product. Congratulations JDM
