New Digi Cam, New Truck Pics - Not DialUp Friendly

I just got a new Digital Camera. Its the Fuji 3800. It takes great pics, a big step up from my sony video camera. These pics are 45% of their original size.
What do you think?

Nice pics and a really nice truck. Glad i got to see it in person last weekend. By the way, i wanted to apologize for my friends trying to get us to race our trucks, they were pushing a little too much. Anyways just wanted to say nice pics and i hope to see you around again, maybe we could talk more next time. Peace.

What's with the tiger stripes on the grill? That looks like it is from the camera and not actually part of the grill, since the stripes go a different way in the second pic.

Nice meeting you too. Yeah next maybe we can actually talk instead of let the other guys talk for us. Maybe you can come to the track with us too.

With a digicam, your work has just BEGUN once the shot is taken. A little photoshop goes a long way:

cropped
auto levels
a little red and yellow added to counteract the blue cast
decrease brightness (black levels) a hair
increase contrast (white levels) a hair
unsharp mask

This took about 120 seconds. With a little more time, the pic could be made even better.
