Innovations is definitely the hot ticket.
BUT, you mentioned hauling a bike. You don't want to be pulling off a 130 lb fiberglass top.
The only attractive, easily removeable hard top I have seen is the Versacover:
Just released this month for the flareside. $600, about 50lbs. Super easy to remove, even with only one person. Extremely well constructed -- looks much stronger even than fiberglass.
The stock textured black surface may not look right on any color other than black, though.

I have seen people slid the covers off the back by themselves onto the open tailgate then onto carpeting on the ground.
A 4x8 sheet of plywood is really big and unweildy to handle alone. The covers are more than 6 feet long and more than 6 feet wide. Just no easy way to "grab" it . Maybe we could hire that little girl to help since she celarly can handle the weight.. LOL
Maybe they should mold a handle in the center ....

If that is the same thing as an undercover they are nice covers. The install kit even comes with hooks and holes in the cover so you can hang it on a wall when not in use.
The outside finish is textured balck and the locks are pretty good also.
They just don't look as good as a painted fiberglass cover.
