factory in dash cd changer

Will the factory radio from an '03 "plug and play" in an '02 ? I would really like the in dash 6 cd instead of behind the seat but don't want to hack into the wiring.

I think the plug is the same between the two radios. Should be no problem to pull yours and plug in the 03.

Yes, its a direct swap, you can also hook your current changer to it so you can have 12 discs .. from what I have been told anyhow.

it is a direct swap, however mine has a malfunctioning fan that emits a high pitched whine that is annoying as hell. Test the unit before you install it to see if it makes the same sound....

Where can you buy one? How much in the box? How much to install?

Can it be done at a dealership?

Thanx...

I bought mine from a delphi lightning board for $50.00 plus shipping.
Don't pay delaership price, find one that someone took out to replace with an aftermarket.

I haven't hooked it up yet, maybe next week.

or you could get the Mach MP3 playing version of the single disc, talk about a lot of play back time...

That's what I have and I picked it up off eBay for 250.00 last year. It has the factory look to it and hooks to the factory cd changer. Overall I am still very happy with the purchase.

You could check Ebay. They have radios on there all the time. Good luck.
