at least i would think. Just for all the people who love the fast vehicles, i apologize in advance for the people who like asthetically appealing vehicles.

You know, the side of it isnt all that bad looking. The front is horrid. But with 665HP and a 6M, I would drive it.

Surprisingly, it doesn't look to bad. I've never liked the stock Aztecs before, but this has some appeal. It actually has a Lightning looking exhaust and Lightning looking wheels.

It's better looking than your everyday Aztek (or however you spell it)...
But then again, that's not saying much.

It wasn't so much that the government screwed up performance in the 70's and later, it was that there was no market for performance cars. Gas went from $.25/gallon to over $.50/gallon overnight, and then shot up to $.75/gallon. That would be the equivalent of paying $3.00 to $4.00/gallon for gas today. Everybody dumped their performance cars, to go for economy cars and the manufacturers adjusted as well. You could barely give away a big block car. I even went from a 67' GT Mustang with a 390, to a (geez I hate to admit this) 1962 Volkswagen Bug (but I did put the big bore kit on and a bigger carburetor ). It's great now, because with technology, we are seeing a resurgence of performance vehicles to choose from.

Yeah, that hurt sales; but, had nothing to do with the power issues that emmissions laws created.

That's true, but the direction we were going in regarding auto polution and other polution, we would all be having to carry oxygen tanks around if they didn't clean up the air.

With todays performance vehicles, it goes to show that they can build a low emmissions vehicle and still have performance.
