hdmlnium and Don's Bolt dailly driver grudge match
First off Bill your going down bud.
Tomorow evening Bill and I are having a little grudge match between our dailly drivers
In the Left Lane hdmlnium
GMC Delani 6 liter 4x4 with 4 wheel steering
In the Right Lane Don's Bolt
SVT Focus with 500 miles
I have never driven a standard at the track before, and have no idea what is the best rpm to launch at, or how soon to shift into 2nd gear. I still plan to take Bill and his heavy A$$ed GMC, and kick his A$$.
So who do you all think is going to win??

First off it's (Tomorrow) DumbA$$ Don lol
I figured it rhymed and I wanted to start this off with some smack talk. If and I do say if, my 5700 pound plus tow truck beats you to the end of the 1/4 mile I would sell that SVT Focus real Quick and buy one of the WRX STI's.
It figures we would have this thing going on tomorrow night, I just lifted the back 2" and the front 1" Sunday morning. I guess she won't cut through the wind as good any more. haha
Oh, and I have to throw this in to so you will try extra hard tomorrow night, "I know you don't want me to woop your a$$ 2 times in one week do you??" haha. All in fun buddy, only a select few will know how bad I am beating you up on this. lol
I predict you to run 14.8's to 15.0's and I will run 15.1's to 15.3's so you should be fine Don.
I do hope someone comes and videos it just in case it is an upset. That would be hard for you to live down my friend.

let me know if you want to borrow my zex kit. A 55 shot would help you scoot down the track.
By the way, launch at 3k rpm and ride the clutch....start shifting about 200rpms before redline...short shifting a little is better than redlining.

Launch it easy and enjoy the ride. After the first 60' Lightning's are a cake walk, so you should be able to drink a coffee in the Denali on the trip down.
Keep us informed of the results.
