Ram Air ?

Is more air in better or is there a max amount of air you want the engine to breath. The intake on the JL Ram Air just seems a little small, would it be better to have a bigger one. Is bigger better?

Red I use to run full 4" hose for air intake,

The 3" Stainless is what I now run, to tell you the truth other than the sand dirt leaves and kittens in took in,
I don't notice any less power with the 3".

Remember the JLP box is taken air in from 3 places
1- The Engine Compartment (good for idle)
2- The Orig Fender inlet (good for a little cooler air once moving)
3- The Hose you run "for the coolest available air from outside"

But Yes
More Cooler Air is Best, as long as it's not a closed system.
""True Ram Air"" would be a completly closed box, and in that
situation too much air can cause a lean condition
