That is true for some of their stuff, but a lot of their stuff is pretty good pricing, too. Also remember that you do get some free equipment and free shipping with purchase.

I have had a few dealings with them and their customer service has been rather impressive as well. If anyone decides to order, let me know so I can give you a referral code.

I have bought my head unit and amp from ikesound.com and cannot complain. They do good service. As for nexxon.com they seem to carry brands that other retailers on the internet can't get.

Love it. Every deck I have owned has been Alpine and I have no reason to try anything else.

Alpine's HU have green illumination that matches dash nicely.
Supposedly have the fastest MP3 access time.
More features that you can shake a stick at.

My only complaint about the deck is that it seems to like to change the media expander settings on you when you switch sources or insert a new disc. Takes only 5 seconds to change, but sometimes you dont notice it switched on you and you dont get as powerful of sound as you do with it set right. Depending on how you like your music it may never be an issue with you.

Just want you to be aware that there is no internal amp on the CDA-7998, so you would need a amp to run any speakers you hook to it.

Get in touch with me and you may be able to talk me into selling mine to you. The IVA-D900 is looking purdy
