Ok Shimmed the TT Bars

BTW the picture the MFG uses shows a real far distance


I guess that may be mounted possibaly 1/4 - 1/2 "
futher back than mine ?
Maybe for the next time I'll re-mount them,
but tommorrow I'll run them like they are now,

They are clearly closer than ever before,
AND DEF CLOSER THAN THAN THAT PIC
that should help

Yours look like about at least an inch to far up. It should be hitting on that last leaf right after the rivet. That last picture looks correct in position it looks like it will hit just past the rivet were it should hit

I like where Rob has them now; maybe they could be just an 1/2 inch back. If you read up on "slapper bars" they techinically are supposed to hit round mount(under the bolt), but it just doesn't work on our trucks. If you have them hitting too far back on the springs you will actually bend the springs. You have to imagine applying a LOT of force fromt that snubber. If you hit farther back it will bend the sping; longer(farther forward) is better.
