Radar Detector

Has anyone hard wired a radar into there Lightning? I'm thinking of wiring it between the rear view mirror and the console on the roof. what do you guys think? is there a easier way? thanks

I hard wired mine in the bottom left side of the dash. Looks clean, its right in sight, and makes it easy to wire.

how did you wire it in? did you just pull down the temperature thing and wire it into there? how does that come down?

it is held with clips and screws.

I used that site also when I installed my V1. Looks much better hardwired then having that coiled power cable.

just finished the install. took about 20mins. jeez those clips are a pain in the ***. looks alot better than the coil. thanks alot
