Which is a stronger 5.4 block?

possible answer:
the lightning motor is going in the new Navigator model as a special edition option. (s/c and all)
Also this is the same block (size wise) as the engine in the New and upcoming Ford GT.
Perhaps instead of build 3 different blocks, Ford decided to upgrade the current block so that it can be used in all 3 applications?
Same block in Lightning, Navigator (s/c Model) and the Ford GT.
Ford finally got it right?

uhmm, so if sals running way over what the ford GT is going to put out stock, why would ford even beef up the block more??? The dimensions of the blocks are the same so its not like one is going to fit different?
Ford should have put that extra money into making stronger rods then trying to beef up a block thats already proven to handle the HP.

Unless I am mistken, the new GT block is significantly different than the Navigator block...they've made some changes to the strengthening ribs in the intake valley, made changes to the rail on the bottom to accomodate the GT's dry sump system and included oil galleys for the oil squirters for the bottom of the pistons. Not even close to the same block that goes in the trucks.
