How do L's do in the snow/on ice?

Well if I get an L, I'm not going to be able to afford a dependable winter car on top of it. There's a possibility that I could drive our 89 Chevy 4wd truck. I just figure the L would do the same as my truck now did with the same weight in the back. Wouldnt definately have to take it easy on the acceleration though.

well miss moneybags...must be nice...
just kidding....i have a beater blazer for the snow, but i don't want to stop driving my L.....i'm sure i will have no problem when i see some 75 years old on the road next to me the first time it snows
if i were you eposey i'd spend $500 or $1000 and get a beater rather than dealing with the headache of some a$$hole hitting your or you sliding into a large oak tree!!!!

16/17" smaller crap rims, + small winter tires. 400-500$ New, bags of concrete or replacement parts overnighted from japan for a 10sec ricer of some kind in rear, over the wheels and you'll be fine.
the salt and crap will hurt the truck tho
if you care about all the power you could take off the supercharger pully and get a flipchip tuned so you cna run winter w/o supercharger power. reg mildly modded 5.4L.
other then that my L makes it "ok".

i also get to drive a chevy this winter. its my wifes very first car. a chevette. its gonna be a crapper compared to the L (which should be on blocks by this time next week). I have been llaying down some serious abuse to the F1s cuz I know I will miss it this winter. Ofcourse now I am going to need tires when I get the L back out to drive.
back to the ...vette (lol), Manual trans ans 33k original miles. just put new tires, brake lines, wipers, and blower motor in it. All that and I still dont feel safe. At least I wont feel bad if I ditch it this winter. I would cry if I ditched the L
