took 2 1/2 weeks to fix
while i was driving a toyota for a loaner
it sucked and the truck hasnt been the same
by the way they put an old style head back on
after they fix it go over the truck, they pulled the motor
out of mine and left the bell housing bolts loose

are you positive that you had an updated head to begin with? did you ever check the dates on the head or change your plugs?
for what it's worth, I changed my plugs at around 10,000 miles and all 8 were tight as could be. where in comparison, after 6 or 7K miles my '01 had 3 loose plugs?

Chris,
I talked to one of the SVT folks on the 1-800 number a couple of weeks ago. FWIW, I was told that ALL 2003 Lightnings had the updated heads.
Mine is production run number 115 and it has them. My truck was built on the 2nd day of production so I am inclined to believe they all got the new heads.
