How much extra boost will 2.80 reichard upper supercharger ultra pulley create with a 6# lower i am running a 6# lower at this time going to add 2.80 reichard i understand not much difference between a 2.80 and 2.85 running about 14# total boost now mabey 15# at most other mods on my 2003 lightning single blade throttle body cold air k&n filter diablo delta sport chip thanks for your replys/

plug in your pulley sze in the last column (where it tells you to) and this will caluculate everything and more about pulley size and effect on power and Blower RPM

I would think you should be running more boost than that.

I have a 6lb, 9 inch lower and 2lb, 3.20 reichard upper and I have 16lbs of boost. Infact I lost a lb when I installed the dynatech longtubes, high flow single cats and magnaflow cat back.
Am I missing something?

I am still running factory boost gauge i am just making a estimate a guess when i stated 14 or 15# of boost could be a little more just going to add reichard 2.80 ultra racing upper pulley in a day or so.

 

Promod in Lauderdale runs a 6lb lower and the 2.75 (I think) and he is in the 20's.

so if you pushed 8# stock, that setup should give you around 14.4
It's not the max, just an average. a little higher and lower is normal

I have a 4lb Lower and 2.87 Upper, on the Dyno it pushes right at 11.8 - 12 Lbs of true boost.

 

I have a JLP 4# lower and a 2.80 upper. I make about 14-15 pounds of boost. The other night it was like 30 degrees out. I got the best seat in the pants ever. I made 16 pounds for the first time on the street program. I am afraid to push it anymore with this cold weather. I would love to put some racing fuel in there, flip the chip to race, and let er rip down the track. But I don't have the *****... But my 4# lower alone made like 12-13 pounds. Then I added the 2.80 and I am right around 14-15#'s.

 

will be adding boost gauge and transmission heat and oil temp gauge later on using gauge pods on left post should have already done so lightning only has 2200 miles on it. it is going to be fast has all the makings of of a good lightning it was bought new in june
