Dynamat

I was thinkin bout purchasing dynamat and found that it is sold at a local tweeter store, in bulk packs of 36 sq. ft. for 250 dollars. But i have used the search feature, and have read that other people are puttin in 70 sq. ft. at least, and have bought that for 100 dollars. I would like to kno where they got it that cheap. I found some on ebay, but thats 100 dollars for 36 sq. ft. Any info will be appreciated.

which type of dynomat....there's three different kinds....one has the black paper backing, one has a white and black and the extreme (the most expensive) has a foil backing....the extreme used to cost me 19.99 for a 3x4 piece at circuit city....which i thought was expensive????

If you want to deaden the whole cab, get 1 xtreme bulk pack. You should be able to find them on ebay fairly cheap. 1 complete layer should be more then enough. Should you still need it more quite, Cascade engineering makes a lead plate liner to cover the floor board. It's basically a thin lead sheet stuck between 2 pieces of foam insulation. It also adds more padding in the carpet for comfort.

I highly recommend this stuff. Works great, and much cheaper than Dynomat. I used it in my '02 Eclipse one roll basically did from the B pillars back, and I still had some left over. I plan on getting another roll one of these days for my truck, and if I ever get off my lazy butt I want to use the leftovers from the previous roll to do my doors...

Brown Bread is actually rated higher. I have both in my truck and recommend the Brown Bread. I got 72 sq ft for 150 shipped. That will be enough to put 1 layer on the entire cab, and a couple on the back wall. Makes a HUGE difference.

Email me if you want some pics of the install.

Ditto that. I bought two rolls of this stuff and was able to lay down two layers in the cab along with inner and outer door skins.
