We can do Predator tunes for you. If you didn't purchase the unidirectly from us, it's a one time $100 charge, same as our chip policy. I would seriously hope that NO tuner would ever give someone a poor program as result of not buying the unit from them.

Sorry to hijack the thread... but...

Is there something to keep people from sharing or "swapping tunes" with someone else?

Just curious if the tunes are linked to a particular VIN or if they are basically generic BIN files that can be loaded onto any predator?

Thanks!

I don't mean to use the predator on another car or truck. I was asking about taking/borrowing/pirating/stealing someone elses tune file and putting it on your own predator/truck

VyPer, yes, custom tunes are VIN specific, they are made from the original backup taken from the truck. You cannot use them on a different truck.

RED 92, yes the Predator plugs into the OBD-II port.

Ruination, no I am sorry, I do not deal with the red Diablo chips, only the black Revolution chips. If you have one of those, I can take in and give a credit towards a Predator.

When you say "one time $100 charge" does that mean unlimited tunes, or does that mean 100 now and some money for each tune?

Do you also take 4 ways back as credit towards a predator?

Our standard Predator fees are as follows:

If you purchased it from us, the first custom tune is free. Any custom tunes after that, $30 each. If you did NOT purchase it from us, the first custom tune is $100, any after that is $30 each.
