Looking through their web page I noticed a stainless steel brake like kit for a 97-00 expidition 2 wheel drive. I wonder if they will fit our trucks

Sure, on the rotor surfaces that contact the pads... but everything else would stay much nicer looking than pitted rust

answers.

Sorry for the confusion, I said package but the parts are sold individually. and no the rotors are not plated. I painted mine with caliper paint to match my calipers. you cannot order direct from the site so when u call, tell Edwin what application u need and that way your sure to get exactly the right parts. I researched this for quite awhile and this was the absolute best product/price combo I could find. hope this helps. I'll be installing today. Oh don't forget new bearings & grease seals too.

That is a killer price

However, my 03L has 12.1" vented rotors on the front and 13.1" vented rotors on the rear. If your 99L has the same brake setup from SVT mine has (thought all GenII's did, but could be wrong), 2 of those rotors look wrong to me in the pic (2 are obviously not vented).

Also are you going to be using these for any OT events?

Interesting, they must of upgraded them. i see it on the SVT site now.
Front: 12.1-in. (308mm) vented disc, twin-piston caliper
Rear: 13.1-in. (334mm) vented disc, single-piston caliper

Damn you're right! (The 2 rotor in the pic still look like they're the wrong size however, but could be distorted in the picture I spose.) I knew about the ABS deal, but just took it on faith that they were vented

How exactly does ford pull that out of their asses????
