I called to inquire about a suspension kit for my '04 Lightning.

I ask for Eric, was told he is no longer with Roush. I stated I had a 2004 F-150 Lightning that I wanted a kit for and he said he has nothing for the new 2004's. I reminded him that the 2004 L is a "heritage" body style, meaning it's like 1999-2003's. And again he said he has nothing. I asked how about for a 2003? He says yes. I told him that nothing has changed from 2003-2004 Lightnings, and he said they are looking into what parts can be retro-ed for the 2004s. I again asked if he was aware that Ford does still have "old" body style F-150's in production as well as the new ones. And he again said he had nothing for the 2004's.

Ok, let me make it simple: I want a kit for a 2003 Lightning. We have those but it may not work with your 2004? Why not? It's a new design. No, I have a 2004 "Heritage" F-150, old body style, carry over from 2003. It's the same. Well uhhhhhh, uhhhhh.

So what your saying is a 2003 is a 2004 but a 2004 is not a 2004 because its a 2003.

I dealt with Casey when I bought my kit. My guess is that you had the pleasure of talking to Joe. His personal skills leave something to be desired. Anyway, when I ordered mine, I was told that orders could only be placed online or through a local dealer. Phone orders are no longer accepted.

The funniest thing about it was how he acted, like he was teaching me something I didnt know. It was like he was excited to finally *know* something that someone else didnt ... kind of ironic if you ask me
