Sal,
I’m not trying to be cenacle here, but it appears that the solenoid is being mounted with one nut. If this is the case, are the drag techs likely to let it go? I realize the solenoid doesn’t weigh much, nor should the bracket have any significant stress to carry.
Just curious.
Jake…
P.S. All my best to you & Lisa this holiday season!

The doorbell switch Hurst supplies sucks. Just like Tommy's kit, do yourselves a favor and get a new switch.
...and the brakes need to be bled. You are adding a new line so there is a lot of air there. When I bled mine, a ton of air came out.
I think Sal said that no "Special" bleeding to the ABS needs to be done.
Also, regarding the bracket. In my experience, anything mounted with one bolt generally comes loose. I'm not sure about this kit though, maybe there is some other kind of fastening means with the bolt. Tommy's kit also has one bolt hole, but the bottom of the bracket "Hugs" the bottom of the reservoir so that if the bracket came loose, it would pivot and the bracket would stop the solenoid from turning (If that makes sense). I don't know how likely it is that the bolt will loosen up though.

Yes, the brakes need to be bled, but just in the convensional manner. Nothing special because of the ABS.
As for the one bolt attachment, it's more than enough, I've had this setup on my 99, and then my 01, and my truck has prototype braided lines, and the assy has never moved a fraction of an inch. The production setup uses a hard line from the master to the solenoid, so that acts as an additional brace.
