Since I'm relatively new to the boards, I have a question that will probably seem dumb to most of you. But what's the big deal about the KB supercharger? Why change from the stock Eaton?

Leo congratulations and welcome to the KB (kick butt) club! I changed my Eaton at 500 miles so I really can't remember much about it's performance, but I am with you on what awesome power she can produce. I am with Vinne, at the KB's peak performance (high 20+ boost) you will have died and gone to heaven (I will get there one day, 20+ lbs that is, heaven is another story). I am pushing 16 to 18lbs now depending on the temps outside (light foot on the 18's mind you).
You think you're having fun now, wait until you go with the longtubes, high flows - remember you should loose a pound or two and you can start switching pulleys. I really hope you are tuning cautiously with a well known tuner and dyno for a safe tune! Good Luck!

Don - My brand new 500 mile Eaton is available, $1 for every mile if your friend is still in the market for one.

Congrats on the addition of the KB to your L. You will love it! As long as you keep the boost levels in check(at or below 15psig MAX), you ensure you have a good (SAFE) tune, and keep in mind the copious amounts of power lurking underfoot, then drive her accordingly...you SHOULD be OK. Let me WARN you, the power this thing is capable of delivering is ADDICTING. DO NOT GET GREEDY!!! Have fun and enjoy!!!

Rob
